No, mom, you have to wait until I'm done! That's what it often sounds like at home with families today when everyone is queuing to use the tablet. The children have the first thing on the tablet and the parents have to wait their turn.

There is a constant queue for the tablet among families with children. In 43 percent of families, the children are the first to use the tablet, and the parents have to wait their turn.

"When I grew up there was a queue for the landline phone and now we queue to use the tablet," says Kennet Rådne, head of innovation and portfolio strategy at Mobility Services, TeliaSonera. "The popularity of the tablet is limitless and extends beyond the walls of the house to be used in the car, the summer house, the caravan, you can use it wherever you want!"

In recent years, the use of mobile phones and tablets has increased and the number of mobile devices in each family is constantly increasing.

"A family today has 3.3 mobile phone subscriptions on average," says Kennet Rådne. "We expect that within five years an average smartphone user will use ten times more data than today to surf, update their status on social networks and watch TV," continues Kennet Rådne. "Today, everyone sees it as a matter of course to be connected anywhere and anytime!"
