TeliaSonera has today signed an agreement to acquire Ipeer AB, Sweden's leading enterprise provider of cloud and hosting services, from Applewise AB. The deal means that TeliaSonera supplements its product portfolio of networks and access services and will be able to offer its Swedish business customers completely new comprehensive solutions.

The deal means that TeliaSonera supplements its product portfolio of networks and access services and will be able to offer its Swedish business customers completely new comprehensive solutions.

Ipeer brings technology and knowledge of cloud and hosting services to both small and large businesses. Together with our billion-dollar investment in infrastructure, we can offer comprehensive solutions that create the conditions for our business customers to use the almost unlimited opportunities that digitization in society brings," says Malin Frenning, CEO of Telia Sweden.
Ipeer AB's sales amounted to SEK 56.7 million for the full year 2013. The company has 65 employees and has operations in Stockholm, Karlstad and India.
As of October 1, Ipeer AB forms part of Cygate's operations within Telia Sweden's corporate operations, and will be included in Cygate's business area for cloud and hosting services. TeliaSonera acquires all shares in Ipeer AB. The purchase price is not public. The other companies in the Applewise group are not affected by the acquisition.
