Stretch – a fast grower in ICT-Karlstad

When Stretch - one of Sweden's fastest growing companies - moved into Karlstad's oldest house at Kungsgatan 7, it was like a newly started company with strong growth. Stretch Karlstad has gone from three to nine employees in 12 months. "Continued growth is our goal - we believe in the same pace also in 2014", says Mathias Carling at Stretch.

Stretch Karlstad now has nine employees.

Stretch in Karlstad started with a number of experienced SAP consultants and has since grown with several areas of expertise. This summer, the company entered into a partnership with Atlassian, which is a supplier for various types of collaboration tools (Confluence wiki, case-error management with JIRA, support desks, document management).

"Atlassian's partners are called Atlassian Experts - our experienced consultants enable successful deployment and contribute to our customers getting the most out of their project support tools," explains Mathias Carling. "Atlassian's license models have proven to be almost unbeatable on the market and have caused great interest in the tools".

Atlasian is a software company that develops a suite of products that support every step of the product development process. Atlassian's headquarters are in Sydney, Australia. The company was founded in 2002 and the interest in their products and the customer base is growing strongly – from 2,000 customers in 2004 to 30,000 customers in 2013, 88 of which are companies on the Fortune 100 list. Atlassian's biggest products are JIRA for issue management and Confluence wiki/document management.

American Gartner has named Atlassian as one of the leading companies providing products in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). Atlassian is an Open Source-friendly company with a large commutiy that contributes a large number of additional products/add-ons both commercial and free. These plugins extend the functionality of the applications

Stretch Karlstad has three main areas of expertise – the business system SAP, agile collaboration tools and change management.

"We work based on our customers' business systems. Our tradition of focusing on business systems has made it natural to grow in neighboring areas. We work continuously to develop our offer and will soon present more news", explains Mathias Carling.

Stretch already exists in Stockholm, Malmö, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Oslo and has approximately 160 employees.
