Magnus Lindström & Peter Furster

Why are you leaving the CEO position Peter?
"Since the end of 2013, I have been involved in building up the business, from a county council project with a handful of people to a public company that employs around 40 very competent employees and has a central role in the digitization of the e-health area. It has been a fantastic journey, but now it feels natural to hand over the responsibility and be able to put more effort into my other assignment, as head of the Program Office at Inera, an assignment I have held in parallel for the past year.

Magnus has solid leadership experience and has previously held the role of operations manager, which makes the shift smooth and secure. I feel very confident that Magnus, with his commitment, will continue to develop the company to the next level." says Peter Furster.

Magnus, how do you see the future and Nordic Medtest's position?

"It is of course both exciting and stimulating to have been entrusted with the role of CEO of Nordic Medtest, a company I feel strongly about after my more than three years in the business.

All sectors of society are being digitized or have been digitized - individuals and companies expect digital services, this applies not least to healthcare. The motto digital first is indicative. There are undeniably challenges in encouraging innovative development and at the same time quality-assuring the implementation of solutions in the business. Here we can contribute by being "the obvious competence center for quality-enhancing measures in e-health" for both county councils, regions and municipalities as well as private healthcare providers and suppliers.

We constantly package new services that address all steps in the IT systems' total life cycle and we believe that this holistic approach to testing, from idea and development to management and decommissioning, is a necessary strategy for sustainable IT solutions in healthcare.

In order for the entire eco-system e-health to provide the intended benefit, it is important that not only the constituent parts are individually quality assured, but that the whole works and therefore provides the intended benefit. There are many actors involved and here, through our independence, we can strive to have the overall perspective in all assignments we are engaged in.

Another important part of our strategy is, of course, to have the sharpest competence in the testing area within the company. A large part of our growth will take place through continued recruitment of core competence but also in strong cooperation with partners.

I am very positive about the future. Nordic Medtest will be able to strengthen its position in the e-health area, take advantage of knowledge and experience and apply it to other sectors of society as well." says Magnus Lindström.
