Midroc Electro expands through the acquisition of Browik

As part of the strategy to strengthen its position both geographically and technically, Midroc Electro has acquired Browik, a complete consulting, contracting and service company in electrical engineering, building automation and energy solutions.

The electrical installation and electrical engineering company Browik has 180 employees, a turnover of SEK 175 million in three operating companies and is headquartered in Örebro. Midroc Electro sees the business, and not least the know-how of its staff, as an important component in its ambition to be best in class and the customers' first choice.
 
"Through the acquisition of Browik's Swedish operations, several strategic pieces fall into place for us. Örebro is a tactically important place because today we are in Värmland, Västmanland and Dalarna. To also get business in i.a. Uppsala, Tranås and strengthen our presence in Stockholm, while at the same time we gain great know-how in property automation and energy - it strengthens us both geographically and technically," says Karl-Ivar Jönsson, CEO of Midroc Electro.

The agreement will be signed on July 4 and Midroc Electro will take over the business from August 31, 2012.
