LearningWell has long worked with automated traceability. With our proprietary cloud service TagWell, we have been involved in developing traceability solutions that are currently used within the European railways and industry. To meet the interest from a growing number of industries, an updated version is now being launched. With the new version, LearningWell wants to make it easier for all types of customers – regardless of size and industry – to get started with automated traceability that creates value from the first moment.

By providing items in your business with unique identities, you can follow them through the entire value chain with TagWell. Examples of items could be uniforms, tools, machine parts, railroad cars—yes, even living things. By having control over items and events that are important to your business, the risk of theft and loss is reduced. Limiting the time the items are out in the business also prevents unnecessary wear and tear damage. With TagWell, you create flows and processes that are cost-effective, time-saving and sustainable.

The goal is to give customers from a wide mix of industries the opportunity to get started in a flexible and scalable way with automated traceability that creates value from the first moment.

Use TagWell to get answers to questions like:

  • When did the item leave the warehouse?
  • What manufacturing material has been used?
  • Where is it now?
  • Which of the employees had it last?
  • When is it expected to be back in stock?

Generalized with more choices for the customer

TagWell has previously been strongly associated with rfid technology, its possibilities and limitations. In addition to new features being added, the platform has today been generalized to suit a wider market. Rfid technology is still supported, but nowadays it is entirely up to the customer which reading method is used.

"It feels great that we now have a really well-tuned product that we see fits into most industries," says Tord Larsson-Steen, CEO of LearningWell SW. "Curiosity from the market is increasing, and interest in what it can do for different types of customers is growing every day."

The Swedish Transport Administration and SCA

With the help of TagWell, freight terminals know at every moment where the trains are and in what order the wagons arrive. Transporters receive detailed statistics on the condition of the wagons and can make planned maintenance actions.

In our customer case, you can read more about different areas of use for automated traceability.
