Meet Karlstad's agile coach, Anette Rung!

What was the journey like to the role you have today?

- I have been in the IT consulting industry my entire professional life as a system developer, project manager, service manager, task manager, product owner, Scrum Master, Business Area Manager, quality manager, salesperson, team lead and not least team member. I worked for a long time with heavy project management models, but since 2010 with an agile way of working and mindset. I enjoy many different roles at the same time and being involved all the way. This has now boiled down to the fact that today I am primarily an agile coach.

Why did Consid become the workplace for you?

- Consid is a large consulting company that, despite this, really cares about its employees. The company has a culture that really suits me, with modern leadership, participation and trust between colleagues. Then it's extra fun to be involved early on in building the office in Karlstad together with nice and funny colleagues! I also have the opportunity to work and live in both Karlstad and Stockholm.

What are the challenges of your job?

- Right now I'm on a mission with two teams. In the afternoons I mostly work with the team whose members are spread over several locations in Europe and North America and in the mornings with the Swedish team, so the time difference is a challenge. Since the mission is a global company with financial and insurance operations, Compliance is important. We must always comply with regulations, reporting, responsibility and traceability. The IT side works agilely with SAFE. The agile transformation places new demands on the business and adaptation of working methods and roles, and it is of course a challenge for both the organization and the people.

• The role of agile coach lacks a role description and is like a packaging of many different experiences together with an agile mindset. Use your unique experience and skills!
• Good enough!
• Listen and participate to be able to coach an agile transformation.
