Effect Management strengthens its connection to the Academy

Effect Management begins cooperation with Northern Europe's leading player in management and leadership development; IFL at the Stockholm School of Economics. Together, they are now launching a joint ERFA group in Värmland.

ERFA stands for exchange of experience and is an exclusive format aimed at people in senior positions in business and administration. The focus is to meet other managers and leaders who are looking for new skills and sparring to test and develop strategic thoughts and reasoning before important decisions. The group is led by two qualified leaders with close connections to the academy.

"Effect Management has extensive experience working with Värmland as well as Swedish and international business, and when we now strengthen our connection to the leading academy in several areas, our contribution to our customers becomes even more comprehensive and future-oriented. Developing and working in networks is one of today's strongest means of competition," says Peter Rovér, CEO of Effect Management.

The approach to solving the different challenges of the ERFA group participants combines practical experience from the group's participants with theoretical knowledge and process competence provided by IFL at the School of Business and Economics and Effect Management.

"There is enormous power in gathering so much experience-based competence and combining it with the latest research and structured process management. In ERFA, members get to go deep with important strategic issues and become each other's management consultants," continues Peter Rovér.

Examples of questions within ERFA can be about; take the next step in a company's development, implementation of strategy, growth issues, management & organizational issues.

"Within the framework of ERFA, I know that we can create dialogue and action to strengthen our operations and thus also Värmland. It's more fun to take the best to Värmland, instead of having to go to Stockholm, London or Boston to get the latest," concludes Peter.

The first Värmland ERFA group starts in autumn 2011.
