Margot Wallström and Maria Arnholm are some of the speakers when Effect Management invites you to Wermland Talks - a half day on October 11 about "Beyond Simplicity - Lift your business to the next level". Wermland Talks is a recurring inspiration day with the aim of driving growth in companies and organizations.
Research shows that organizations that venture beyond silliness create more profitable and successful businesses. In Värmland there is great potential to lift to the next level, but in order to succeed, different perspectives must be pitted against each other.
Effect Management - in collaboration with Attityd in Karlstad - invites you to a half-day with inspiring speakers such as Margot Wallström and Minister for Gender Equality Maria Arnholm. Through their experiences of leadership at the highest level, they share their perspectives on how diversified organizations create growth.
"During the day, we will also give you the opportunity to participate in a network-widening speed dating. There you will have the opportunity to meet business owners with an interest in strengthening their boards with new skills," the invitation says.
Margot Wallström - former UN envoy, EU commissioner and minister - talks about her experiences of leadership in large organizations, and how diversity has created added value for these. We get to follow her journey in the corridors of power, from Sweden and out into the world, with a perspective we are not used to. Today she works as Director of Diversity at PostkodLotteriet.
Maria Arnholm – Sweden's Minister for Gender Equality and with extensive experience in Swedish business life – was previously CEO of the PR agency Springtime and communications director at Coop Sweden and Coop Norden. She inspires how organizations can create greater growth through diversity. Maria talks about her priority issues as minister for gender equality, and also gives the government's view on why increased diversity is important.
