- Startup Sweden has been described as the alternative Almedalen and the focus will be entirely on kick-starting Sweden after the pandemic. Uppstart Sweden takes place on 7 and 8 September and will be about the Swedish and global economy and business life after the pandemic. Special focus is placed on digitization and the digital transformation. It is the Di group that arranges the event and the concept manager is Thomas Danielsson.

-We will create the year's largest digital meeting place for decision makers in business, politics, the public sector and organisations. It will be a gathering place where decision-makers can discuss and reach a consensus on the crucial future issues for Sweden and jointly set goals for the coming year, says Thomas Danielsson.
