Better control of VSV with the help of Swedwise

Reduced costs, easier handling and fewer errors. That was the result when VSV Frakt turned to Swedwise to streamline and simplify the administration around the company's handling of fuel purchases. The solution is a system where handling is handled electronically and automatically.

"Because VSV Frakt's drivers generate so many fuel invoices, they can calculate the investment in just a few months. At the same time, they can spend more of their resources on their core business instead of administration," says Roger Wall, CEO of Swedwise.

The new solution means that the fuel companies send an electronic file to VSV Frakt instead of a paper invoice. Other supplier invoices that still arrive on paper are scanned into the system for e-attestation. The system automatically identifies any discrepancies between the purchase order and the invoice. It provides safer handling while eliminating costs for manual handling.

This is not the first time that VSV Frakt has turned to Swedwise. The companies have previously worked together to streamline the handling of the 300,000 waybills and measurement receipts that VSV Frakt produces each year. Previously, these documents were handled entirely manually, an approach that employed five people, who are now working on significantly more interesting tasks at the company. Now the receipts are scanned into the system, which makes it easier for both riders and the administration, and errors that can occur due to the human factor are also eliminated.

VSV Frakt is a logistics company for everything to do with the forest. The company clears forests, transports roundwood, works with biofuel and transports wood chips. VSV consists of approximately 200 small and large companies with 600 employees.
