With the SDK, Sweden gets a standardized ability for secure digital communication for all sectors in public Sweden. More information about the project is available at inera.se

During autumn 2020, both technical pilot tests and operational pilot tests will be carried out. This is to verify processes and that the common infrastructure is useful for the operational pilots ahead of the upcoming implementation phase. The operational pilots are carried out by municipalities, regions and state authorities. The pilots are divided into different operational areas, for example social services and the labor market. This is to be able to test the search function to find the right recipient and to test flows of secure digital messages within various businesses.

Nordic Medtest's work in the project

Nordic Medtest has been involved from the start of the project in 2018 and will also be a participant in the transition to management and widespread introduction in 2021. In SDK, Nordic Medtest holds the roles of test leader, tester, pilot support and federation operator. The pilot support helps the pilots solve problems, improve instructions, document the problems that arise and handles the pilots' status messages within the project and to the pilots. The federation operator ensures that the connection process to the SDK federation works as intended.

"With many different pilots, many different angles are given to the project's documentation and processes. It makes it easy to see where ambiguities exist and where bottlenecks occur in processes.” / Frank Grundin

-Organizations that are going to introduce the SDK are themselves responsible for adapting their own tools that they want to use for connection and for entering their own organization's information in the common address book. It is good that there are a large number of pilots, from scattered areas of activity, who themselves are responsible for adaptation and connection. With many different pilots, many different angles are given to the project's documentation and processes. It makes it easy to see where ambiguities exist and where in processes bottlenecks occur, says Frank Grundin, pilot support and federation operator.

The test leader's work in the project's final phase is primarily to ensure that all tests are carried out, to compile test results and the pilots' experiences, and to review so that all documentation is sufficient when the project goes into administration in 2021.

Nordic Medtest will participate in the project's digital information meeting on December 10, 2020. See Invitation to digital information meetings
