In a rapidly changing world, we need to find new ways of working and methods that help us navigate, create new business and deliver long-term results. We are Laja is based on scientific methods and tools, such as Design Thinking, to sustainably develop companies and organizations with the aim of promoting innovation from a holistic perspective.
The training aims to give the participants knowledge about Design Thinking and about optimizing internal working methods for innovation. It should provide competence to use tools that lead the innovation work towards new opportunities, with the starting point of creating long-term sustainable solutions for both the public and private sectors.
SCOPE OF TRAINING
The training is based on two training days, each 6 hours, in Karlstad and two digital seminar sessions, each 2 hours.
The training is based on experiential learning with a large amount of reflection, where the training days provide a theoretical and practical framework. Between training days, participants test tools and working methods independently. The seminars enable reflection and exchange of experience from completed test work.
After the training, the participant has:
- gained new perspectives on innovation work.
- knowledge of the latest research in sustainable development.
- knowledge of Design Thinking, a philosophy and toolbox that enables creative problem solving.
- concrete methods that deeply help to create understanding for people who will take part in future solutions, employees as well as customers and users.
- knowledge of how to engage your team in sustainable innovation work.
- knowledge of business modeling and what is required to create a direction that leads the work towards new opportunities.
- examples of how sustainability works as a business driver for many businesses today.
- an educational material with tools, which work in both the private and public sector, to work with further.
Valuable training that gave us new ideas and tools. Now we have an internal playbook for us as an organization, which keeps us in the right direction when we face elections, says Martin Björkman, the incubator Founders Loft, who completed the training.
