Digitization is a force we cannot stop - how do we ensure that sustainable digital development is promoted?
"The cloud" can easily be seen as something abstract and invisible, behind which are large premises that store our data. The contents of the premises use electricity and generate heat, something that has become one of our biggest sources of emissions.
At the autumn's first TechTalk, you will meet Lars Schedin, CEO at EcoDataCenter – the world's first climate-positive data center. With innovation as a driving force, they have turned data storage into something positive, including by taking advantage of the heat that is generated.

TECH TALK VÄRMLAND – WHAT & HOW?
TechTalk Värmland focuses on how we as people, companies and organizations are affected by the ongoing digitization. The purpose of the meetings is to learn from each other, be inspired and develop.
If you want, you can bring your own lunch box and heat it in the Coffice or pick up food from the Nova restaurant on the ground floor. We offer coffee on site. The location is in the DigitalWell Innovation Hub at Karlstad Innovation Park unless otherwise stated. Of course, you can also participate digitally, read more about that below.
Feel free to join the Facebook group TechTalk Värmland so you will receive ongoing information about what is happening and the opportunity to discuss before and after the meetings. Otherwise, just show up, no registration required.

All our TechTalks are streamed, and during the current pandemic they only take place digitally. By joining the Facebook group TechTalk Värmland before each week's TechTalk, you will receive a link to participate via. Please have a microphone and camera ready, so you can ask questions live and participate in the discussion part. You can also view all TechTalks retrospectively from the same group.
