The Värmland Chamber of Commerce invites you to a seminar on Cybersecurity on February 22, 2022.
Every day we can read about cyber attacks. One bigger than the other. Both Coop and the hotel chain Nordic Choice Hotels have recently been affected. Yes, it has probably not escaped anyone's notice that the number of IT attacks is increasing. But which businesses are actually exposed to these threats? And how protected is your business?
Companies and organizations today are at risk of being exposed to cyber attacks, small and large companies alike. We can all be affected by, for example, a Ransomeware attack, also called a hostage program, or an extortion trojan, or Phishing attack where people "fish" for personal and sensitive information such as passwords or card numbers. Attacks that can have major consequences.
Cyber crimes are increasing and threats are becoming increasingly complex.
Companies and organizations have had to change and digitization has happened quickly, not least because of the pandemic. Cyber threats are increasing and becoming increasingly complex. And these threats also need to be considered as a business issue and not just an IT issue. If you are exposed to an attack, there is a risk that the entire business operation will stop.
The situation in the world and in Värmland
Which companies are affected and how are they affected? Who is behind the attacks and what can we expect in terms of the evolution of cybercrime going forward? What are the most common security risks and what should be done if the company is exposed? This, and much more, we will discuss
during the seminar.
With us we have:
Jonas Axelsson, CAG Engvall Security, IT and Information Security Expert.
Simon Binder, Cygate (part of Telia), Workplace architect and security expert.
