If your company will temporarily visit a country outside the EU, the ATA carnet may be the best and easiest solution for your company.
An ATA carnet is an international customs passport for goods and is used if, for example, you are going to display goods at a fair in Norway, demonstrate your products to a customer in South Africa or use professional equipment for service work in Japan. On February 18, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the ATA carnet and how it is used!
It is also an opportunity to attend our first LIFE Talk where we hear Karin Krizinger talk about Cape Town and South Africa. She lives and grew up in the country and has had several roles as project manager and research specialist in renewable energy. Right now she is also Regional Mentor in LIFE Academy's "Capacatiy Development Program Renewable Energy".
PROGRAM:
10.00 – 11.00 About the ATA carnet; which goods can be used with an ATA carnet, how to use and apply for an ATA carnet and what is important to think about before and during the trip. Presentation by Alexandra Pfeiffer, Chamber of Commerce.
11.15 – 11.45 LIFE Talk "Curious about Cape Town and South Africa"; about its culture, export possibilities and the use of renewable energy. As participating companies, you have the chance to ask questions.
