Expansion into new markets means both opportunities and risks. To succeed, even in the long term, risks related to business ethics, sustainability and social responsibility are expected to be proactively identified and managed. Many corporate scandals are based on companies not having a sufficient understanding of the business climate and cultural aspects in developing markets. Financiers and credit institutions also expect companies seeking financing to have systems in place to manage risks related to business ethics.
Anti-corruption expert Anna Romberg will highlight the risk areas through practical cases. The first hour we talk about company expectations, personal responsibility and risks, while the second hour is an interactive discussion regarding ethical dilemmas and decision-making in the 'grey zone'.
