Lecture and workshop with Anti-corruption expert

At 10.00-12.00, more info will come when we know what the corona situation looks like

RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN DEVELOPING MARKETS

Are your processes and routines ready to handle new risks in international markets? In this lecture and workshop, anti-corruption expert Anna Romberg will go through what small and medium-sized companies should think about before expanding into developing markets from a business ethics perspective. We will specifically focus on corruption and fraud.

Expansion into new markets means both opportunities and risks. To succeed, even in the long term, risks related to business ethics, sustainability and social responsibility are expected to be proactively identified and managed. Many corporate scandals are based on companies not having a sufficient understanding of the business climate and cultural aspects in developing markets. Financiers and credit institutions also expect companies seeking financing to have systems in place to manage risks related to business ethics.

Anti-corruption expert Anna Romberg will highlight the risk areas through practical cases. The first hour we talk about company expectations, personal responsibility and risks, while the second hour is an interactive discussion regarding ethical dilemmas and decision-making in the 'grey zone'.

Date and time

Tuesday, September 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Lecture the first hour and workshop the second hour.
