No purplewashing in Värmland is the goal
How does Värmland actually work with gender equality? In the Attraction Power Värmland project, representatives from the manufacturing industry, the forestry industry, healthcare and the tech/IT industry have been interviewed about the situation in their workplaces. In the tech industry, there is a lot to be done to achieve a more even gender distribution in our industries. This can be seen not least in “Lower starting salaries for girls becoming engineers” and “Lack of women in tech: ‘It can seem scary'”.
