We work to strengthen local identity, attractiveness and sustainability through collaboration between residents, businesses, municipalities and research organisations.
Aims and objectives of the initiative
The aim is to lay a solid foundation for an inclusive project that engages the whole municipality and gives Hagfors a clear vision for the future. Bruksort 2.0 wants to create a long-term change by:
- Building socially sustainable communities where all generations are included.
- Develop innovative solutions to improve accessibility and mobility.
- Creating a vision for the future that strengthens the attractiveness and sustainability of the town.
How does it work?
The project is part of ShiftSweden and is part of the national Impact Innovation programme. Together with Hagfors municipality, Uddeholm AB, local residents and businesses, we are working to test new ideas and methods to create a society where people thrive and want to stay.
Our partners, including Visit Värmland, the Centre for Service Research at Karlstad University, Xperience Next and Maria Fiskerud, provide expertise and tools to turn visions into reality.
Compare’s role in the project

- Identify digital solutions that support societal development.
