Inera Test and Development tests and develops resident services such as 1177 and national services for welfare organisations such as the National Patient Overview and Pascal.
The head office is located in Karlstad, where around 60 employees and a number of hired consultants work. Some employees are based at Inera’s premises on Södermalm in Stockholm.

Job description
As a technical tester, you will work in a team on testing in our projects. This includes familiarising yourself with customer needs in order to understand what is important to test. You will work both with exploratory testing to understand the service and to develop automated tests that are manageable.
You will help ensure that our assignments are delivered using modern technical platforms, which also includes building and managing test frameworks, and implementing tools for log analysis and CI/CD.
Is this you?
You are an experienced tester who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and customers. You have an academic degree or equivalent, in testing.
We operate in a complex ecosystem with many systems and actors. The willingness and curiosity to continuously develop and build new knowledge is critical.
You will take great responsibility for your work. Humility and helpfulness are two other important aspects of the way we work together.
Qualifications
Requirements for the post:
- At least 5 years of experience in testing
- Experience in test automation for REST/SOAP interfaces and/or web interfaces
- Experience with version control and tools for this
- Experience in testing backend solutions that fulfil high performance, robustness, security and availability requirements
- Experience in exploratory testing
- Strong personal drive in the work
- Experience in close customer relations
- You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing, as all communication and documentation is in Swedish.
- Experience with agile working methods
Experience is an advantage for this position:
- Experience in software development
- Experience in performance testing
- Experience with container technologies, including Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes
- Experience in developing and managing tests/mocks in for example Python
