Inera Test och utveckling AB develops, tests and manages important digital services and IT infrastructure in Sweden’s welfare, with a focus primarily on health and social care. We are also responsible for technology and working methods linked to testing and development.
Inera Test and Development is the parent company Inera AB’s internal test and development company.
Owned by Sweden’s municipalities and regions, Inera AB develops and is responsible for, for example, 1177 and the national infrastructure for health and social care, including a large number of critical digital services used primarily by regions and municipalities.
The head office is located in Karlstad, where around 60 employees and a number of hired consultants work. Some employees are based at Inera’s premises on Södermalm in Stockholm.

Who are you?
We are looking for you who are an experienced system developer who likes to collaborate with colleagues and customers. You have an academic degree or equivalent in systems development. The development team needs to be expanded and there is an opportunity to influence working methods for future management and further development together with the team.

Qualifications
We are now looking for backend developers to join an agile development team responsible for application management and further development of the National Service Platform.
The main tasks are:
You have recently worked with backend development in Java and have developed solutions with high demands on security, availability and performance. You have experience in Java development with integrations through SOAP and REST interfaces.
You are used to working in Scrum with Atlassian products and collaborating with colleagues to solve problems. You’ve worked with CI/CD in established tools and take great pride in maintaining the build. You have experience working with source code in Git.
You will work with the following technologies/tools and should be willing to develop in:
- Java, with frameworks like Spring Boot and Apache Camel
- Container-based operations with Kubernetes and Docker
- Integration platforms for various standards such as SOAP, REST and FHIR
- Databases like MySQL and MongoDB
- API Gateways and other API Management tools
- Security standards like Mutual TLS and OAuth
- Testing tools like SoapUI, Postman, Gatling
Knowledge of secure development methodology and industry experience in the public sector in general and healthcare in particular is an advantage.
You should have good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing as all communication and documentation is in Swedish.
