LADIES 4.0

At 13.00-15.00, Digital

How do we achieve symbiosis between companies and local communities?

Welcome to a digital seminar on benefits for society and industry to work in symbiosis around societal challenges.

On March 17, DAMI 4.0 (Research Center for Digital Adaptive Manufacturing for Industry 4.0) invites you to a digital seminar on benefits for society and industry to work symbiosis around societal challenges. The seminar is the first in a series of seminars in which DAMI 4.0 invites to an interdisciplinary research agenda in five different areas related to how digitization with the help of intelligent data-driven systems affects production and processes in the factories of the future: system aspects, infrastructure, intelligence, organization and social and human factors.

We will discuss examples of the symbiosis and the profits that can arise for both companies and society when companies get involved in local communities and when initiatives are taken in local communities to involve, for example, children and young people in future issues such as digitization. During the seminar, we will discuss issues surrounding industry 5.0, and how companies' digitization journey is part of a larger societal context and has significance for local places and people.

Participating companies are Uddeholm and Volvo as well as the project Everyone's children and young people in Arvika.
