Hello there, Marcus Olsson Ramberg…

...who is the new Innovation Manager at Compare!

What attracted you to Compare?

– I have a great interest in social issues. I think it’s important to have an interesting context, meaningfulness and to be able to contribute to real development. At Compare, you have the opportunity to tick all those boxes.

What will you do in your role as Innovation Manager?

– I will primarily be involved in running Mighty, which is a collaborative project between Compare, RISE, Propell, Sandbacka Science Park and Dalarna Science Park. Mighty EDIH supports small and medium-sized companies in manufacturing industry and the public sector to develop in digitalisation. In addition to that project, I will also work with skills supply issues.

What have you done before?

– I come from the banking industry where I worked as an analyst for the last five years. Before that, I also have a background in academia working in service research, where I studied the phenomenon of gamification in retail.

What do you do when you are not working?

– I’m doing what I’m currently geeking out about. Life has a lot of interesting things to offer. At the moment I’m doing some martial arts and growing chilli.
