Swinga is an app that makes it easy and safe to borrow tools, leisure gadgets and much more from each other, or rent from a local company. In Sweden, many of us live as if we had four planets. It doesn't have to be that way. There are smarter ways to consume. Sharing, borrowing, and renting from each other is sometimes called the "sharing economy" and is a new old thing that many have begun to rediscover.

However, some services in the sharing economy and also social media have certainly ended up a bit crooked. Swinga's goal is to become a more democratic and sustainable role model. That is why we are one of Sweden's first so-called "platform cooperative” – a jointly owned app for a real sharing economy in nicer and smarter neighbourhoods.

So, when we say that "we are Swinga", we don't just mean the undersigned, but that Swinga is all of us who join and swing gadgets, cooperative organizations, volunteers who distribute flyers, and everyone else who joins and contributes.
