The lecture is about clarifying what is meant when we casually talk about “macho culture” in the workplace.
What does it mean in practice, what are the reasons for its occurrence and what negative consequences are likely to arise as a result? And most importantly, what can we do to actively address the issue in our workplaces – whether it’s how you’re allowed to be as an employee or the jargon that prevails.
The overall purpose of this meeting is to gain increased knowledge, reflection and inspiration that can help us ensure that everyone is happy at work – not just some.
Welcome to a lecture with Johan Pettersson, Lecturer and teacher at the Police University College in Malmö where he works daily with issues related to power, norms, expectations and prejudices together with his police students.
