This year, 30 entries have been nominated and you can get involved by voting for the entries that deserve the award.
The nominees represent a wide range of businesses, the public sector and academia from different parts of the country. They are a mix of initiatives that all demonstrate how data and digital technology can contribute to better health for the individual. Among the companies represented are Habbie HealthTech, Preventionsmottagningen, Södersjukhuset and AsthmaTuner, which allows patients to perform lung function tests at home.
The public will help decide which entries will finally receive the award at a ceremony in Karlstad on 1 June. The DigitalWell Award is presented in four categories – Innovation through Collaboration, Individual Participation, Data & Digital Technology, Service Development & Commercialisation.
Between 2 May and 1 June, it is open for everyone to vote for the most significant entries.
Information about the DigitalWell Award
The DigitalWell Award is administered by the Compare Foundation, which organises the awards. Based on the nominations received, DigitalWell Arena’s Process Management selects up to four shortlist participants in each category. A jury, consisting of external representatives from different stakeholder groups in Sweden’s innovation system, is selected to award points to the shortlist participants. The winners are then selected in a vote, where the total score from the jury and the vote decides. The votes of the jury and the public carry equal weight.
In addition to the attention and promotion given to the nominees through the competition, the winners will get to act as ambassadors on a joint trip to a digital health conference. The trip will be organised by DigitalWell Arena and will provide skills development, business intelligence, a broader network of contacts and an exchange of experiences. More information will be provided to the winning entries.
