Compare leads feasibility study shaping new community for advanced digitalisation in Värmland

In an era of rapid digitalisation and ever-increasing pace of development, it is crucial to stay up to date and understand the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation.

To meet these needs, Compare is leading a feasibility study aimed at establishing a community for advanced digitalisation in Värmland.

The community will serve as a dynamic platform where participants from different industries and sectors can meet, be inspired and exchange knowledge. Neshe Tuna, Innovation Manager at Compare, emphasises the importance of creating such a structured platform:

– “There is currently no structured community for digitalisation in the region, which means isolated groups and a lack of a natural meeting place for discussion and collaboration on the topic. The feasibility study will result in a framework for such a community, and define the rules and methods to run it.

Neshe Tuna, Innovation Manager at Compare.

The project focuses on exploring structures for knowledge development and sharing in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT) and high-performance computing. By bringing together individuals with different backgrounds and competences, the project aims to foster collaboration and innovation across sectors.

– The target groups of the project are individuals from small, medium and large companies, the public sector and academia,” Neshe adds. “The important thing is not the size or type of organisation, but that the participants share a common interest and need to engage in the advanced digitalisation community.

The feasibility study, funded by Region Värmland, is currently underway and is expected to be completed in October 2024. Forming a rich community for advanced digitalisation in Värmland will open the doors for increased innovation, collaboration and sustainable development in the region and hopefully also at national level.

Please contact Neshe Tuna if you are interested in getting involved in shaping the community.
