Purplewashing, Gender Equality Diploma and Genius 2023 – news from Attraktionskraft Värmland

Mapping gender equality in Värmland's workplaces, the prao-mix and the Genius Prize are all things you can read more about in the latest newsletter from Attraktionskraft Värmland.

No purplewashing in Värmland is the goal

How does Värmland actually work with gender equality? In the Attraction Power Värmland project, representatives from the manufacturing industry, the forestry industry, healthcare and the tech/IT industry have been interviewed about the situation in their workplaces. In the tech industry, there is a lot to be done to achieve a more even gender distribution in our industries. This can be seen not least in “Lower starting salaries for girls becoming engineers” and “Lack of women in tech: ‘It can seem scary'”. Subscribe to the newsletter to keep track of what is going on in Attraktionskraft Värmland in the future!

Genius 2023

Remember to nominate your company, organisation or association by 16 April. The winner will be chosen by a jury and presented on 17 May at Genius 2023.
