Communicating democratically will strengthen relationships and avoid unnecessary conflicts within your organisation. During the conference, Barakat Ghebrehawariat, political scientist, journalist and entrepreneur, will give you concrete tools and strategies to drive change.
You may have seen Barakat on Nyhetsmorgon or know him as the author of the book “Får man säga svart” (2023)? The book addresses the complex issue of racism and language. With an increasingly polarised national dialogue around racism, Barakat highlights the urgent need to understand why it is so challenging to speak openly about these topics. Can you say black and why is it problematic to say coloured? These are relevant but sensitive questions that he answers.
Together we raise our gaze
We also look ahead to find common driving forces and be inspired by each other. Together with the Värmland business community, we will share insights, working methods and how we can continue to work for a more equal Värmland. Through knowledge and work with various gender equality issues, we get more attractive employers, which benefits the whole of Värmland.
This is the last meeting within the framework of the Attraktionkraft Värmland project.
Take the opportunity to network and get inspired during this afternoon!
