A one-stop-shop to boost digital transformation in health data
Health Data Sweden (HDS) is one of the EU’s Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) offering technical expertise and testing to enable digital transformation for the public sector and SMEs.
HDS acts as a one-stop-shop for digital acceleration in health data. Acceleration is achieved through awareness and customisation of key technologies. The aim of the HDS is to promote the use of services that enable collaboration between SMEs and the public sector for the development of new digital health and welfare services.
Digital services catalogue
HDS provides services relevant to health data in five core areas;
- Skills and training
- Access to finance
- Access to innovation ecosystems and networks
- Test before investment
- Health data development
By providing access to technical expertise and testing, HDS helps companies improve business/production processes, products and services using digital technologies. Innovation services, such as financing advice, training and skills development needed for successful digital transformation are offered. HDS also customises services according to customer needs.
Expected impacts and results
The project’s efforts are expected to lead to clearer entry points and more efficient processes for using health data, increased cooperation for the development, implementation and commercialisation of digital solutions for health, care and the individual, and increased availability of health data. Ultimately, the project will lead to better health and greater opportunities for individuals to participate in and influence their own health.
Parties
The consortium consists of 18 partners; regions, universities, innovation environments and research institutes that today form a solid ecosystem in Sweden with cutting-edge knowledge and services in the health data area.
