Facts about the project
The project runs from November 2023 to December 2026 and is funded by the European Union, the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, Region Gävleborg, Region Dalarna and Region Värmland.
*GovTech means new smart welfare services and products for employees and citizens co-created by innovative companies and the public sector.
What is a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH)?
INFORMATION ON THE EUROPEAN DIGITAL INNOVATION HUB
The European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) is a support scheme that opens up new opportunities for businesses and organisations to become more competitive by supporting their digital transformation. These hubs play a key role in the implementation of the EU Digital Europe Programme, enabling businesses and the public sector to benefit from the latest digital technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and high-performance computing (HPC). The EDIH initiative aims to stimulate digital transformation across all industries and the public sector in the EU. The main focus is on increasing digitalisation in businesses, especially SMEs, and on those parts of the public sector that need more digitalisation. Mighty is one of many EDIHs located across Europe. Sweden has been awarded additional EDIHs funded by the EU DIGITAL programme, a number of which are of such high quality that they qualified as EDIHs, known as “Seal of Excellence”. Mighty EDIH is one of the seven Seals of Excellence. Together, these 11 provide a good geographical spread of EDIH in Sweden. Through access to the EDIH network, we help each other with expertise and can therefore find specific knowledge and other parties that match your challenges.
